Welcome to the MIRZ Games!

Compete to become the winner of the one and only MIRZ Games. Across three days, you’ll earn points at hosted events, mini games, and side quests. The winner will be crowned at the Sunday reception!

Rules

  • Scores are individual, even in team events.

How to Earn Points

  • Earn points by attending hosted events.
  • Earn additional points based on performance.
  • Complete mini side quests throughout the weekend.
  • Hosted events: 5 points for attending, with up to 15 points total depending on performance.
  • Mini games at the Sunday night reception.

Submitting Scores

  • Sign up using the Google Form.
  • Submit scores through the score submission form.
  • Check the live leaderboard to see updates.

Mini Side Quests

Earn daily points through mini side quests. Complete these on your own time. Except for the golf scramble, each side quest may be completed multiple times, with a maximum of once per day.

  • Golf scramble competition at Flatirons Golf Course.
  • Add one picture to the shared Google Photos album.
  • Eat at one of our favorite restaurants around Boulder.
  • Hike one of our favorite trails.
  • Climb one of our favorite routes.
  • Play board games. You can borrow games from Zach.

Golf Scramble

Miranda and Zach will post a score to beat. Teams of four will play a scramble, where each player drops their ball by the best shot from their team. Everyone gets 5 points for attending. Beat our score to earn 5 extra points. The team with the lowest score earns an additional 5 points.

Board Game Competition

Players will be split across different board games and scored based on individual performance. Final points will be based on each team’s average score per person.

Board Climbing Competition

Teams will compete to score as many V-points as possible within the time limit. After the team event, there will be ranked individual knockouts.

Hide & Seek Across Boulder

Teams will be paired against each other. Hiders get 30 minutes to hide, then seekers have 2 hours to find them by texting questions from a set list. Hiders must stay within 1/4 mile of their assigned bus stop. Once seekers reach the bus stop, hiders must stop moving until found. After being found, both teams return to the starting location and switch roles. Full rules will be explained the morning of the event.
